The Role
At Leda ESC, you will work alongside a dynamic and collaborative team of specialist teachers and education support staff.
Together we deliver individualized programs and evidence-based practice that help students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities
Provide flexible, reflective, student-centred teaching.
Work with students with intellectual and multiple physical disabilities, ASD, trauma, and complex communication needs.
Design and review meaningful Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that nurture functional curriculum outcomes and whole-child development.
Apply Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and programs such as Letters and Sounds, Talk 4 Writing, and Zones of Regulation.
Build strong relationships with students, families, and the wider community.
Collate and analyze student progress data to inform instruction.
Collaborate closely with colleagues, therapists, and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for students.

Eligibility
Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit.
