The Role
This is not your standard supervisor position. You'll perform specialist jacking of hydraulic excavators, shovels, and other large-scale equipment.
With a strong focus on quality assurance and client service, you'll oversee machine lifts, build stakeholder relationships, and support training initiatives across multiple locations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising field crews and ensuring safe, compliant work delivery
* Performing and overseeing specialist jacking during slew bearing changes, track frame replacements, and shutdown support
* Engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to problem-solve and deliver on expectations
* Local and interstate travel, regularly for periods up to 7-10 days, occasionally longer when conducting our specialist jacking work with associated shutdown support
About You
We're looking for a hands-on leader who can guide teams in high-risk environments while staying cool, calm, and connected to clients and crews.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
* Mechanical aptitude and the confidence to hold technical conversations with stakeholders
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment
* A willingness to travel frequently, learn new systems, and think on your feet
* Training, QA or site leadership experience will be highly regarded
* Current valid driver's license
* Brisbane based, with regular travel required
Trade qualifications and experience in Mining are a bonus-but not essential. If you're mechanically minded and ready to grow, we'll back you with training.
