Join our Civil Operations team and help deliver high-quality maintenance and construction works across the region. We’re seeking an experienced Truck Driver with strong HR spreader truck skills and a commitment to safe, efficient and reliable plant operation.
* Permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week).
* Remuneration package of $2,463.50 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $2,956.20 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%).

In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Operating and maintaining HR spreader trucks and other Council plant and equipment.
* Assisting with civil works including traffic control, concreting, paving, pipe laying, stormwater maintenance, road repairs, kerb and gutter construction, and general site labouring.
* Maintaining small plant, tools and PPE in line with Council standards.
* Completing required documentation such as safety forms and site records.
As the successful applicant, you will have the following:
* HR Driver’s Licence (Manual).
* White Card and Traffic Control – Traffic Controller (Blue) + Implement Traffic Control (Yellow) Training Cards.
* Experience in civil construction, plant operation or similar outdoor labouring roles.
* Strong teamwork, communication and time-management skills.
* A commitment to safe work practices, customer service and continuous improvement.
In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation, the successful applicant is required to be vaccinated for Hepatitis B and will be asked to provide evidence of this.
