As a support worker for children who have experienced childhood trauma, abuse or neglect, you will play a vital role in helping them heal and develop essential life skills.
Our residential homes operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which means that successful applicants must be willing to work a variety of shifts including afternoons, sleepovers and weekends.
* A Diploma in Community Services or a related field is desirable but not essential if you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicant with relevant experience.
* You will need to hold current Provide First Aid and CPR certificates and have a valid Australian driver's licence.
* It is also essential that you are able and willing to assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, if required.
Successful candidates will undergo probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check and NSW Residential Care Workers Register check.
