Infrastructure Coordinator – University of Melbourne
University salary range: A$100,000.00 / yr – A$110,000.00 / yr. Role type: Full‑time; Continuing. Faculty: Engineering & Information Technology. Department: Infrastructure and Operations Services. Salary: UoM 6 – $100,847 – $109,163 p.a. plus 17% super.
Responsibilities
* Deliver professional support: Ensure effective resolution of infrastructure and facility service issues.
* Manage facility operations: Oversee maintenance, security access, and room bookings to optimise facility use.
* Lead project delivery: Manage small infrastructure projects and support major initiatives, ensuring timely, budget‑conscious completion.
* Develop building user guides: Create guides for new facilities to enable safe, effective use.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant degree or trade qualification with experience in facilities management and infrastructure projects, demonstrating strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
* Experience delivering minor infrastructure projects and engaging multiple trade groups.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; thrive in team and independent settings.
* Knowledge of Australian occupational health and safety legislation.
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence and comfortable driving in city traffic.
* Mindset geared towards customer service and continuous improvement.
