Early Careers & Inclusion Partner

Airbus Australia Pacific is seeking an experienced people professional to lead our Early Careers programs while actively contributing to Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) initiatives across Australia and New Zealand.
This role plays a key part in shaping sustainable talent pipelines and fostering an inclusive workplace by translating people strategy into practical, measurable programs that support future workforce capability.
About the Role
Reporting to the Team Lead Talent, you will be responsible for the development, coordination and continuous improvement of Airbus Australia Pacific's Early Careers programs, including apprenticeships, traineeships, internships, graduate programs, work experience and VIE programs.
Alongside this, you will support and help drive Inclusion and Diversity initiatives by partnering with the business, contributing to planning and execution, and tracking outcomes aligned to organisational priorities.
The role takes a forward-looking approach, ensuring Early Careers and I&D initiatives are aligned to workforce planning, capability needs and long term talent sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, deliver and continuously improve Early Careers programs across AAP
* Align Early Careers pathways with workforce planning, future skills and succession needs
* Proactively source and recruit early talent, building diverse and sustainable pipelines
* Support the development and delivery of Inclusion & Diversity initiatives and action plans
* Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to embed inclusive practices
* Engage with universities, schools, agencies and community partners to support both Early Careers and I&D outcomes
* Monitor program effectiveness, diversity outcomes and stakeholder feedback
* Use data and insights to evaluate impact and inform continuous improvement
* Collaborate with Regional and Global teams to share best practice and ensure alignment
About You
You are a collaborative and pragmatic people professional with experience across Early Careers and/or Inclusion & Diversity.
You enjoy working across a matrix organisation and are comfortable balancing strategic intent with hands-on delivery.
You will bring:
* Experience managing Early Careers programs and/or I&D initiatives
* Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
* An interest in workforce planning, future capability and inclusive talent pipelines
* Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and report outcomes
* Clear, confident communication and strong written skills
* A commitment to safety, quality and inclusion
* Experienced in Campus Recruitment.
* Competent in direct sourcing methodology and different sourcing channels.
* Proficient in Google Suite
* Proficient in HRM system (Workday) would be an advantage.
Qualifications
* Diploma or Degree in HR, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
