About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Group Training & Apprentice Manager to lead and elevate our training division. Based full-time in Bassendean (Perth), you will be responsible for:

* Coaching and mentoring frontline leaders and supervisors
* Overseeing and improving our nationally recognised apprenticeship program
* Ensuring skills capability, compliance, and long-term workforce development
* Driving the culture of leadership excellence and hands-on craftsmanship

This is a high-impact, strategic role with influence across the business, supported by executive leadership and backed by significant resources.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a large-scale, multi-discipline apprenticeship program
* Develop and implement a structured apprentice progression framework
* Coach and train supervisors and managers to be effective leaders and mentors
* Conduct training needs analysis and design targeted upskilling programs
* Coordinate government-funded training initiatives and ensure compliance
* Engage with schools, TAFEs, and industry to recruit and promote talent
* Align workforce capability with the business strategy using skills matrix planning

What You Bring:

* Formal qualifications in Leadership, Training & Assessment, or Human Resources
* Industry experience in engineering, mechanical trades, or industrial operations
* Demonstrated ability to lead large workforce development programs
* Strong background in coaching supervisors and operational leaders
* Ability to map skills needs and design capability-building solutions and possess a confident, collaborative leadership style with strong stakeholder engagement skills
