About The Role
* Our successful candidates will be working with women, families and midwives in the birthing and postnatal units, in a supportive role as an Assistant in Midwifery
* This role offers clinical support which is available from the education, management and midwifery team.
* You will be working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to support women and newborns and promote safety and quality in the workplace.

Requirements
* Currently attending the Bachelor of Midwifery Degree at an Australian University
* Have successfully completed first year full time equivalent of studies (or part time of 2 years)
* Remain an active participant in the Bachelor of Midwifery throughout your employment with HNELHD.
* Have passed all AMSATS for all semesters prior to application for AIM.
