We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage the day-day operations of our heavy vehicle warehouse. This role is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of parts and materials while maintaining strong safety, compliance, and operational standards.
About the Role
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse and store operations. Your key responsibilities will include
* Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, organised workflows
* Act as the main contact for the warehouse team, liaising with management on stock, logistics, and operations
* Supervise, mentor, train and support warehouse staff to drive performance and accountability
* Allocate tasks and monitor work to ensure safety, quality, and operational standards
* Control inventory levels, including replenishment and management of slow-moving stock
* Lead rolling, monthly and annual stocktakes and reconcile variances
* Oversee receipting and dispatch activities in line with company procedures
* Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse and ERP systems
* Deliver, high-quality customer service and resolves issues in a timely, solutions-focused manner
* Coordinate with suppliers and transport providers on deliveries, returns, and backorders
* Ensure compliance with WHS policies and promote safe work practices
* Monitor and coordinate maintenance of warehouse equipment
* Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required
About you
* Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, or stores, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role
* Experience in a heavy vehicle, engineering industrial, or transport environment (highly regarded)
* Strong knowledge of inventory, control and warehouse management systems
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software
* Sound working knowledge of WHS and compliance requirements
* Current forklift licence
* Current drivers licence
