Job Description
We are seeking passionate and experienced academics to join our sessional teaching pool for the following programs:
Bachelor of Business (BBus)
Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc)
Master of Project Management and Leadership (Professional Practice) (MPMLP)
Master of Professional Accounting (Professional Practice)
Master of Business Data Analytics (MBDA)
Session 1, **** commences on 2 March ****.
Teaching is conducted in person at our Melbourne campus, with classes scheduled between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
Successful candidates will contribute to teaching, marking, student engagement, and scholarly practice.
We welcome applicants able to teach in one or more of the required discipline areas.
Key Responsibilities
Teach at AQF 7 (Bachelor) and/or AQF 9 (Master's) levels, with support from course coordinators and senior academics.
Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and workshops on campus.
Support student learning through the LMS and scheduled consultations.
Mark assessments and complete associated administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Participate in professional development and scholarly activities.
Reflect on student and peer feedback to continuously improve teaching practice.
Qualifications
A Master's degree (for teaching at Bachelor level) or a PhD (for teaching at Master's level) in a relevant Business or Accounting discipline.
CPA Australia / CA ANZ / IPAMembership (essential for teaching accounting subjects).
Project Management certification (essential for teaching Project Management subjects).
Demonstrated experience with Work Integrated Learning (WIL) for teaching WIL subjects.
Previous university-level teaching experience (highly desirable).
Demonstrated ability to teach, assess, and support a diverse student cohort effectively.
Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusive teaching practices.
