The Role
As we continue to grow our network and strengthen our clinic operations, we are seeking a Finance Assistant (Accounts Receivable) to join our Finance Team on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities
This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, effective debt collection, and smooth financial operations across our clinics. Working closely with the AR Team Lead, you'll partner with clinic teams and the broader finance department to keep outstanding amounts within target collection times. You'll have the flexibility to work across our National Clinic Support office, in‐clinic, and from home. Additional responsibilities include:
* Completing daily invoicing for third party compensable (DVA, NDIS, Workcover, etc.)
* Following up overdue invoices in line with payment terms
* Clearing draft invoices and customer outstanding amounts by month end
* Overseeing Diabetes Victoria invoicing and collections
* Liaising with Finance Assistants and clinics to manage corporate and PHI invoices
* Assisting with resolving long-standing invoice issues and operational finance challenges
* Ensuring compliance with invoicing and collection legalities
Qualifications & Experience
* Year 12 completion
* Strong computer skills, including Excel
* Professional and confident phone manner, with strong written communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
Desirable
* Experience in invoicing and accounts receivable collections
* 1+ year in office administration
* Experience in a medical, allied health, or fitness environment
