Job Description
Responsibilities of the Production Manager:
* Reporting to the GM, the Production Manager is responsible for leading people, plant, and performance across the site.
* You will drive execution of the master production schedule, uphold strict product quality and food safety standards, partner closely with Maintenance, QA, R&D, and Planning, manage labour resources, and deliver on key KPIs including safety, efficiency, and cost.
* The role is hands‐on, requiring strong troubleshooting capability, effective communication, and continuous improvement focus especially during the commissioning and optimisation of the new production line.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Production Manager Must Have The Following Skills
* Experienced Production Manager or a Senior Supervisor with people leadership experience ready to step up with a background in FMCG or food manufacturing.
* Strong leadership capability, a practical and solutions‐focused approach, and experience in people development, plant troubleshooting, and implementing improvements.
* You thrive in growing environments, can mentor and elevate existing supervisors, and are comfortable working flexibly across the day to support site operations, including during high‐activity commissioning phases.
