About the Opportunity:
We are looking for Commis Chefs to join our team on a casual basis. You will be driven and genuinely passionate about cooking. This is an amazing opportunity to expand on your skills & work alongside some of the industry's most talent chefs.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
* Experience as a Commis Chef in a high volume, premium a-la-carte restaurant
* Ability to effectively follow instructions and absorb new information
* Interest in Italian cuisine
* Good communication and immaculate presentation
* A positive attitude, resilient and adaptable to change
* Understanding of Food Safety and OH&S
* Foundation knife skills and understanding of basic cookery terms and techniques
* Attention to detail
* Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
* Calm and composed demeanour
* Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
