About the Role
We're seeking a motivated Project / Contract Administrator to oversee the coordination, administration, and successful delivery of fire sprinkler projects from design through to completion.
This role suits a proactive professional with experience in both project management and contract administration, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple fire sprinkler projects simultaneously from tender to handover.
* Prepare, review, and administer contracts, variations, and progress claims.
* Coordinate with design teams, site supervisors, installers, and subcontractors.
* Monitor project schedules, budgets, and compliance requirements.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards.
* Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
* Liaise with clients, builders, and consultants to maintain strong working relationships.
* Ensure full compliance with fire codes, building regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Contract Administrator in fire protection, or construction, managing paperwork associated with contracts, programs, projects and services provided.
* In-depth understanding of construction contracts, drawings, and specifications.
* Responding to inquiries and resolving problems concerning contracts, programs, projects, services provided, and persons affected.
* Working with Project Managers, Architects, Engineering Professionals, owners and others to ensure that goals are met.
* Overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders.
* Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Aconex, Procore etc.).
* You will have a bachelor degree or higher AND have a minimum of one year recent relevant experience.
