Senior Leader Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our department as the Senior Director of Education.
In this key role, you will oversee the strategic alignment and contextualization of curriculum to ensure consistency with school priorities and departmental initiatives.
* Guide and support educators in refining teaching and learning practices, enhancing capacity, and embedding evidence-based approaches that amplify student outcomes.
* Foster collaboration across the school community, cultivating a culture of shared responsibility for high-quality curriculum delivery and effective teaching that meets the needs of all learners.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Principal or their delegate, upholding a standard of accountability and commitment to educational excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading the development, articulation, and commitment to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
2. Establishing high standards for student and staff performance.
3. Forming partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
4. Integrating the General Capabilities and Cross Curricular Priorities into the curriculum to equip students with knowledge, skills, behaviors, and dispositions to succeed in life and work.
5. Aligning the three levels of curriculum planning to the Australian Curriculum and the requirements of the K-12 Framework.
6. Analyzing data to inform curriculum design and student outcomes.
7. Leading systematic synthetic phonics initiatives.
