A reputable organisation within the personal injury sector is seeking a Recovery & Support Case Manager to join their team. This role focusses on supporting individuals through their recovery and return‑to‑work journey using a person‑centred approach.
Your new role
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of injured workers, supporting their recovery through a proactive, person‑centred case management approach. You will work closely with injured individuals, their families, employers, and health providers to coordinate services, monitor recovery progress, and facilitate sustainable return‑to‑work outcomes.Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a caseload of injured workers with varying levels of complexity
* Developing and reviewing recovery and return‑to‑work plans
* Building strong relationships with injured workers and their support networks
* Engaging in face‑to‑face communication, including visits as required
* Connecting clients with appropriate health, rehabilitation, and community services
* Monitoring progress and implementing timely interventions to improve outcomes
* Supporting clients to navigate workers compensation processes and entitlements
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely payments
* Maintaining accurate records in line with legislative and organisational requirements
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in case management within personal injury, health, disability, or rehabilitation
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience (e.g. case management, rehabilitation, nursing, allied health, disability, social services)
* Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
* Strong rapport‑building, empathy, and communication skills
* Capable of Passing Police Check
* Strong IT literacy
