With the consistent growth in the ANZ region, we have a great opportunity for a Branch General Manager to manage the Australia and New Zealand region.

Reporting in to the Chief Sales Officer and based in Sydney - Australia, this position is responsible for identifying new target markets, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and current clients with the objective of achieving sales revenue and growth according to team and individual targets/budget.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide clear direction, leadership and management to the team across locations, while working closely with staff to achieve and exceed financial targets, business growth and assisting in executing negotiations while delivering superior client outcomes.
- Ensure the ANZ Branch & Sales targets are met as per tna's global Business Plan.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with new & current clients, in existing industries or new target markets that can be served by our equipment line.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer and key account relationships
- Assess and review, on an ongoing basis, results of all sales activities and ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve unsatisfactory conditions
- Coordinate the development of sales promotion and lead generation activities.
- Work closely with the CSO and others (CFO, CP&CO, CMO) (as required) to ensure account business plans are realistic and achievable, reporting progress throughout the year to tna Leadership Team.
- Ensure sound knowledge of tna's products and services is maintained and developed on a continual basis with the regional sales team, and accurately communicated to customers
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of competitors and competitor pricing
- Represent tna at trade fairs, exhibitions & networking events (including some weekends)
- Responsible for the effective functioning of Aftermarkets as well as Project Management. Support and motivate the teams to ensure ongoing growth in the branch.

**Qualification and experience**
- Engineering degree in any disciple is advantageous. Qualifications in a business administration, sales, marketing, commerce will be considered, but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in machinery sales and/or engineering roles is desirable
- Significant sales team management experience with proven results of consistently driving the sales process from plan to close, ensuring outcomes are achieved
- Staff Management and Leadership experience, with experience motivating and leading teams
- Able to understand, interpret and analyze financial information
- Able to deal with and resolve conflict and develop staff across multiple sites
- Exposure to the manufacturing industry (specifically food or packaging) is advantageous

**Skills and Attributes**
- Working knowledge of current market trends and competitors
- Sound knowledge of selling strategies is essential
- A ' people person' with a strong sense of initiative and enthusiasm
- Self-motivated and driven, able to work unsupervised and in a global atmosphere
- Superior communication (speaking & listening), negotiation and influencing skills & abilities
- Able to stage a selling process that overcomes objection and indifferences and connects client needs with tna solutions
- Able to build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Able to problem solve & make decisions in line with organisational philosophies and practices
- Valid driver's license and car in good working order
- Valid Passport with more than 6 months before expiry
