Job Role: Mechanical Fitter
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our operations and maintenance team in the NT.
The Position:
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of fuel installation assets and equipment
* Carry out diagnostics and repairs in a breakdown environment for fuel related assets and equipment
* Participate in project work as required on fuel installations and related assets and equipment
* Support subcontracted work packages as needed
* Provide assistance at various sites in the region, with occasional requirement to travel to other locations throughout NT
* Trade qualified (mechanical) with relevant post-trade experience
* Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, preferably fuel services or Oil & Gas
* Experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry is highly valued
* Confined space and working at heights tickets are highly regarded
* Safety is paramount in all aspects of this role
* Current possession of, or ability to obtain, suitable Defence Security Clearance
