Opportunity
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing supply chains and driving operational excellence? Join our team as a Logistics Manager to provide strategic leadership across our ANZ warehousing and logistics operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing logistics operations and tracking inventory to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the safe and compliant operation of warehousing and distribution activities across all Valvoline products.
* Manage stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs to drive efficiency while meeting service levels.
* Work with warehouses and transport companies to ensure timely delivery, product integrity, and budget adherence.
* Develop strategic plans, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve distribution activities.
* Manage Freight Management system, ensuring all transporter details and freight rates are current.
* Lead freight strategy optimization programs to maximize freight value while meeting customer needs.
* Ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and practices.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimize performance.
* Take ownership of the supply chain from the plant to delivery.
* Collaborate with other departments to meet organizational goals.
* Ensure staff are trained on relevant local and national regulatory requirements.
* Uphold the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
* Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse and logistics management.
* Formal OHS certification or training (desirable).
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Experience with freight management systems.
* OHS knowledge is essential.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
* Results-driven mindset focused on operational efficiency.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
