Support our residents at RAAFA's Amity Village Estate in Albany as a Retirement Wellbeing Officer. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to our residents through activities, referrals, information, advice and linkage with service providers to enable an independent and meaningful life
As the Retirement Wellbeing Officer, you will:
* Assist residents to link to support services whilst encouraging independence and choice.
* Lead and participate in projects related to resident well-being.
* Encourage programs which help promote health, wellbeing and the active lives of residents.
* Consult with residents and their representatives to identify and develop strategies to deal with concerns.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure residents are supported as their needs change.
* Respond to resident duress calls where required during office hours, acting as required and record actions taken.

About You:
* Understanding of Active Ageing and history of applying this to previous roles.
* Demonstrated ability to assess residents' care and well-being requirements and to prioritise effectively.
* Experience in conflict resolution and well-developed problem-solving skills.
* Awareness of issues related to Aged Care with appropriate advocacy and negotiation skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
* National "C" Class Driver's Licence.
