This is a unique opportunity to step away from shift work and move into a more structured, education focused clinical role while still staying within the hospital environment. We are working with a well established medical device company that specialises in surgical lighting and digital operating room integration systems. They are heavily involved in the new Shoalhaven Hospital build and are now looking for a Clinical Applications Specialist to support the site through go live and implementation. The Role You will be based on site at Shoalhaven Hospital, working closely with clinical teams to train and educate staff on newly installed equipment and systems. This includes: Delivering hands on training across operating theatres, ICU and ED Supporting staff during the go live phase and troubleshooting issues Identifying and training "super users" within the hospital Working alongside field service technicians and internal teams Acting as the go to person on site for all training and system related queries Most of your time will be spent in the digital operating rooms, with some exposure across ICU and emergency. The Project Brand new hospital build currently under construction 10 digital operating rooms being installed Cath lab, ICU bays and ED resus bays included You will start roughly 3 to 4 weeks before go live for training Full support required during implementation phase Start date estimated for June or July depending on confirmed go live Background We Are Looking For Nursing or clinical background Comfortable working in operating theatres or acute environments Strong communication skills and confidence training others Someone who is comfortable with technology and digital systems Ideally based in the Shoalhaven region due to early starts What You Get Fixed term contract (minimum 12 months, likely to extend) Early starts around 7:00 to 7:30am, with early finishes to match Training provided in Sydney before starting on site Opportunity to move into similar roles or projects after completion This role suits someone who enjoys the clinical environment but wants more structure, less shift work and the chance to step into a training focused position.
