Café Assistant

About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced café attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This role involves preparation and serving of coffee, tea, and other beverages as well as basic food preparation. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in line with required food safety, infection control, and hospital standards.
Your duties will include distribution and collection of customer menus, food trays, and beverages, cleaning and sanitizing workstations and food court areas, and providing fast, friendly, and exceptional customer service.
You will also demonstrate experience in a similar role and have the ability to work effectively in a team or independently as required, within a fast-paced café environment.
The successful candidate will have completion of a TAFE plus statement Barista course or equivalent from a recognised institute, experience in food and beverage preparation, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and ability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts on a rotating roster.
