The Acquisition Process
The acquisition of conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines is a complex process that requires legal expertise. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide timely and effective legal advice on various aspects of the acquisition process.
* Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing legal advice on commercial law and administrative law matters related to the submarine program;
2. Mentoring junior lawyers in developing their knowledge and skills in these areas;
3. Collaborating with internal teams, external counsel from private sector firms, other Government entities; working collaboratively across stakeholder groups at all levels within ASA’s strategic direction & policy framework (domestic/international compliance).
