The Role
MULTIPLE CASUAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE | IMMEDIATE START
Join Tassal's quick‑paced salmon processing factory in Margate as a casual Processing Attendant. In this role, you'll assist with the processing and production of fresh salmon, working on a production line and operating machinery to cut, weigh, and package a range of products. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Australia's largest salmon producer, with on‑job training provided. Responsibilities
- Assist with the processing and production of fresh salmon on a production line.
- Operate machinery to cut, weigh, and package a variety of products.
- Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
Role Requirements
- Full availability to work shifts Monday to Friday each week.
- Immediate availability.
- Ability to work in a cold food‑processing environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable transport to get to work (car and driver's licence required).
- Forklift ticket highly desirable.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical assessment and drug test.
- Full‑time working rights in Australia.
