The role ensures that the Council meets all NSW Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Act compliance requirements. They are also responsible for managing the safe and professional management of hazardous materials across Council.
Tertiary qualifications of relevance to the position in areas such as Occupational or Workplace Health and Safety, Project Management, Safety Leadership and/or significant experience in a similar role. Plus the ability to operationalise and implement WHS strategy and apply project management skills to conduct projects to implement change.
Remuneration: commencing at $151,525 gross per annum (+ super)
