St Finbarr's School, Ashgrove is a place of exceptional teaching and inspired learning with over 150 students. Responsibilities
* Assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students, including use of technology and learning support activities
* Monitoring the progress of students and identifying learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies
* Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice for students with diverse learning needs
* Collaborating with school specialists to organise and assist with intervention groups and coordinate services
* Documenting observation notes, intervention programs and assisting in the preparation of classroom materials
About You
* Minimum 3 years experience in a Classroom Support role
* Passionate about your work and motivated to make a difference in a small school
* Strong skills in planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs
* Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence-based interventions
* Experience supporting diverse learning needs to improve outcomes
* Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups
* Proficient in documenting observations, managing intervention programs, and preparing classroom materials
* Certificate III in Education Support
* Not required to be Catholic
Eligibility and Safeguarding
* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
* Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement

* Salary: $34.17 per hour + super (School Salary Scale)
