Research Position: Sustainability and Conservation
We are currently seeking two highly skilled researchers to join our team at the Harry Butler Institute in Murdoch University.
About the Research Team
The Harry Butler Institute is one of four research institutes at Murdoch University, delivering practical solutions that balance sustainability principles with economic growth. Our team of world-class researchers works closely with government and the community to address pressing research challenges.
Your New Role
You will conduct research into knowledge gaps surrounding the direct and indirect impact of renewable energy projects on key cockatoo species in Australia. Your outputs will develop science to support conservation decision making. The roles include desktop research, stakeholder engagement, data collation and analysis, preparation of reports and peer-reviewed journal articles.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct research and collaborate with the research team to deliver project milestones and KPIs.
* Plan and execute research through literature reviews and collaborations with internal and external experts.
* Supervise students where appropriate.
* Maintain accurate records of workflows and data.
