Driver / Factory Sorter – Keep Operations Moving with Shred-X

Shred-X, part of the Freightways Ltd group, is Australia's leader in secure destruction, recycling, and sustainable waste management. We're looking for a motivated and reliable Driver / Factory Sorter to join our Idalia Branch.
In this key hands-on role, you'll primarily support our logistics operations—completing customer collections and deliveries safely and efficiently 3 days per week —while providing essential backup support within the factory two days per week. Your work will help protect our clients' information and resources and keep our recycling and sustainability operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
* Complete local collection and delivery runs in a safe, timely, and professional manner
* Load and unload vehicles, ensuring materials are secure and compliant with load limits
* One night per week away on regional route
* Represent Shred-X positively when dealing with customers and the public
* Maintain vehicles to a clean and roadworthy standard, completing daily pre-start checks
* Support factory operations as needed, including sorting, shredding, and baling of materials
* Assist in moving and storing goods safely using forklifts and other equipment
* Help maintain a clean, compliant, and efficient work environment
* Follow all company WHS, environmental, and operational procedures
What You Bring
* A valid Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence with a strong, safe driving record (essential)
* A current Forklift Licence (essential)
* A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Good time management and attention to detail
* A strong commitment to safety, service, and sustainability
* Experience in transport, logistics, or warehouse/factory operations (desirable)
