About The Opportunity
Campbelltown hospital is looking to recruit an IR Radiographer to join expanded IR services to the new location within the operating theatres, Level 1 as part of Medical Imaging team. This role is a great opportunity for enthusiastic IR radiographers to grow and develop in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
The new IR department has state-of-the-art Siemens Nexaris system comprising of angiography and CT unit. There will be future enhancement to expand further with more complex Interventional Radiology
Applicants should detail their Interventional radiography experience, professional achievements, and plans for further development.
What You'll Be Doing
Performing high quality diagnostic imaging for the purpose of clinical diagnosis using complex clinical procedures. This position requires the diagnostic radiographer to specialise in at least one modality for the purpose of providing leadership and clinical expertise in the noted modality (e.g. CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiography/Interventional, Mammography/Breast Imaging, PACS).

* Hold current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Diagnostic Radiography) and a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent and must have at least 2 full years' experience to apply, i.e. Radiographer Level 2 Grade 2 and a current NSW EPA Radiation Licence.
