Our organisation is seeking a dedicated leader to oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.
This role involves collaborating closely with Optometrists to deliver an exceptional customer experience, relying on the ability to coach effective selling and customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will have retail or healthcare experience, particularly in the optical industry. They should be effective and caring leaders who are organised, able to think critically, and make good decisions that support business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading a team of staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
* Managing store operations, including scheduling staff and maintaining stock levels
* Working closely with Optometrists to deliver a superior customer experience
* Developing and implementing plans to improve sales and customer satisfaction

Requirements include:
* 1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager (or similar) or higher retail management position
* Able to demonstrate experience working with budgets and scheduling staff in compliance with local labour laws
* Preferably available Tuesday to Saturday
* Required optical work experience
