Job Description The PositionThe Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for supporting the business with the day-to-day running of the Calendar Cheese Warehouse, production operations, inwards goods, transport, distribution and customer order fulfilment. This role will support the Warehouse Manager and assists with some of the administrative functions including QA, GMP, M3 and Transport Desired Skills and Experience Key Responsibilities:• Warehouse: Support the Warehouse Manager with day to day running of the facility, as well as efficient and effective picking and packing processes. Ensure all employees are operating from written procedures with appropriate training provided, maintain and monitor all MHE and ensure appropriate vehicles are available. Support adherence to all relevant governing bodies and QA requirements,• Quality: Assist in the site's food safety processes and compliance to VQM manual and external certifications. Support during external audits. Monitor and review of documentation completion• Transport: Ensure all orders are ready for dispatch to meet customers' expectations. Ensure drivers operate according to written procedures with appropriate training provided, and maintain all company owned vehicles including delivery vans and trucks.• General: Support management of all warehouse staff, including drivers, and ensure accountability. Promote a safe working environment through the company's WH&S policies and procedures. Other duties as required.Skills & Experiences• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehousing role• Experience working in an FMCG or 3PL warehouse an advantage• Familiarity with ORCODA or other fleet management tools an advantage• Microsoft Office 365 suite with intermediate Word & Excel skills• Experience using ERP and MRP systems• Demonstrated organisational and planning skills.• Effective communication and people management skills• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
