Nuclear Medicine Technologist

As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our clients state-of-the-art imaging department in Sydney. Key Responsibilities:
* Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including SPECT and GAMMA and other diagnostic scans, ensuring high-quality images and accurate results.
* Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in a safe and effective manner, following all protocols.
* Assist physicians in interpreting results, providing timely and accurate reports.
* Ensure the correct operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of imaging equipment.
* Provide excellent patient care, including explaining procedures to patients and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards related to radiation safety.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical and legal requirements.
Key Requirements:
* Recognized qualification in Nuclear Medicine or a related field.
* Current certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
* Previous experience in nuclear medicine imaging is preferred but not essential.
* Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, imaging procedures, and radiation safety.
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
