St Clare's High School, Taree is seeking a Permanent Part Time (29hrs per week) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Worker to join the team January ****.
The position will work 6 hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and 5 hours on Wednesdays.
St Clare's was established in **** as a systemic, coeducational, regional high school catering for students from Taree, Forster/Tuncurry, Wingham, Bulahdelah, Krambach/Nabiac and Gloucester parishes.
It continues a tradition of quality secondary education in the Manning/Great Lakes Region which commenced in ****, at Taree, by the Sisters of St Joseph.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The purpose of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Education Worker is to focus on supporting students, teachers and school communities in the areas of culture, spirituality and student wellbeing and engagement. Promoting the intent of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle's Reconciliation Action Plan – Reflect, liaising with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and promoting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within the school will be essential to the realisation of these objectives.
