A boutique, growing architecture practice based in Melbourne, seeking an experienced freelance designer / contractor to support our team on a range of projects across residential, multi-residential and commercial sectors.
This role suits a self-motivated designer who enjoys collaborating with a small, design-driven studio and can confidently contribute at concept and design development stages.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of floor layout sketches, test fits and design options
* Review and mark-up of architectural drawings
* Contribution to façade design concepts and design reviews
* Assist with design coordination and refinement as required
* Work collaboratively with our internal team while managing your own time effectively
About You
* Minimum 5+ years industry experience in Australia (or strong local project experience)
* Strong background in residential, multi-residential and/or commercial projects
* Confident in space planning, layouts and façade design
* Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience highly regarded)
* Able to work independently and meet deadlines
* Strong design sensibility with good attention to detail
* Experience working as a freelancer or contractor preferred
