Senior Dental Nurse / Senior Dental Assistant (2IC) High-End Dental Clinic | Clinical Excellence | Supporting Leadership Role
We are a high‐end, progressive dental clinic known for delivering exceptional patient care and complex treatment with precision and attention to detail.
Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a second Senior Dental Nurse / Senior Dental Assistant to work closely alongside our existing senior team member. This is a key support role (2IC), ideal for someone who thrives in a high‐performing environment and is ready to step into a position of influence, responsibility, and collaboration.
You will be working directly with a highly experienced Senior Dental Nurse, supporting clinical flow, maintaining exceptional standards, and helping drive a seamless patient experience across the practice.
About the Role
This position plays a critical role in supporting clinical excellence, team coordination, and patient experience, while working in partnership with our senior team member.
You will assist in maintaining the high standards of the practice while also contributing to leadership, mentoring, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure treatment rooms are fully prepared for smooth, efficient appointments.
* Provide a warm, professional welcome and support patients throughout their visit.
* Deliver exceptional care, particularly for anxious or phobic patients.
* Monitor patient comfort and overall experience during treatment.
* Maintain the high‐end patient journey the practice is known for.
* Assist across a wide range of procedures with dentists and clinicians.
* Prepare and manage instruments, materials, and equipment.
* Complete accurate charting and clinical notes.
* Take and process radiographs (PA, BW, OPG, CBCT).
* Support advanced procedures and complex treatment workflows.
* Work collaboratively with the Senior Dental Nurse to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Assist with mentoring and supporting junior team members.
* Help coordinate clinical flow and appointment efficiency.
* Support communication across the clinical team.
* Uphold and monitor strict infection control standards.
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
* Ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory requirements.
