The Role
This is a great opportunity in Lorne for quality and talentedPastry Chef to join the team on a full-time basis, you will need the following experience and attributes:
* 2+ years relevant experience in the industry.
* Knowledge around preparing pastry products including doughs, pastry fillings, cakes, buns, biscuits, and bread.
* An understanding of baking, shaping and decorating pastry and bread products.
* Worked in a quality restaurant, patisserie, cafe or hotel.
* Experience operating large machines including mixers, ovens, dough forming machines.
* An understanding of HACCP, hygiene practices and following WH&S.
* Can follow a recipe and accurately weigh ingredients.
* Good communication skills, attitude and be a team player.
