The successful candidate will strengthen health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.
This role offers a unique opportunity for nurses to gain experience in new areas and progress their career. The Pool Registered Nurse will work across medical, surgical and specialty areas including paediatrics, neonatal nursery, maternity, ICU, ED and outpatient services.
The successful applicant will be required to meet the essential criteria, which includes being registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

About the Role:
The Launceston General Hospital (LGH) is a 340-bed hospital and is the major referral hospital for the North and North West regions of the State. The LGH Pool provides support to nurses by the Nursing Pool Leadership Team to assist them in developing their knowledge and skills in clinical areas.
