Join our Sydney airport team as a Customer Delivery Driver in a permanent full‐time position.
This is a hands‐on role that helps keep the Australian aviation industry moving.
What does a day in the life of a Customer Delivery Driver look like?
As a member of our airside team, you are the face of dnata catering & retail out on the tarmac and are responsible for correctly loading catering onto the aircraft. You load fully stocked aircraft trolleys onto our hi‐lift trucks and drive a short distance to the aircraft. Once airside, you guide the vehicle for safe approach, load the carts onto the aircraft, and work with the airline cabin crew to ensure everything is correct. You will also remove any empty carts, before heading back to our catering facility.
In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:
* Short distance driving and basic vehicle checks, including re‐fuelling.
* Secure load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens, ensuring accurate count and any discrepancies are followed up on.
* Safely guide and position the trucks in line with company, airport, and airline policies.
* Communicate/coordinate with cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over.
* Administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties as required.
What do you need to be successful in securing this role?
* Clear National Police Check.
* Clean MR or HR Driver's License with minimum 2 years road experience.
* Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
* Flexibility to work across a 7‐day rotating roster around flight schedules is essential.
* Availability to work 38 hours/week, as this role is a full‐time permanent position.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Sound numeracy skills for accurate documentation and reporting.
* Neat and tidy presentation with a strong focus on hygiene.
