Therefore, we’re taking expressions of interest for an experienced Assistant Site Manager interested in live-in roles on Groote Eylandt, in the Gulf of Carpentaria or FIFO ex Darwin or Cairns. A rare opportunity in the remote sector, to live and work in an amazing tropical environment or FIFO ex Darwin or Cairns, whilst enjoying state of the art facilities, with an indoor and outdoor gym, swimming pool, sporting facilities, golf course, as well as the Island’s famous tavern, just to name a few. Roster is 8 days on, 6 days off, working 12 hour days. The Positions Management of the Village (750 rooms) including catering, cleaning and logistics and transport of operations onsite. Maintaining consistent operational performance, driving quality, cost, people capability and performance Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance Fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation The Person Strong and decisive leadership skills with ability to build effective and engaged teams Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships and project deadlines Strong financial and analytical skills in developing budgets and allocating appropriate resources to ensure a sustainable and profitable business. Proven management experience in the hospitality field, ideally within a Catering and or Accommodation services environment.
