We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst, to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Treasury and Finance on a 2-year fixed term.

Remuneration: ASO6 - Salary Range ($98,478 - $104,165 p.a.).

About the chance:

The Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst assists in ensuring the Department of Treasury and Finance is able to meet its responsibility as the lead South Australian Government agency for cyber security and cyber resilience. The role has a particular focus on establishing a South Australian Government advanced cyber threat hunting capability to detect intrusions by sophisticated cyber actors.

About you

To be successful you will:

- Support the establishment of a centralised advanced cyber threat hunting capability for detecting intrusions by sophisticated cyber actors to be offered to SA Government agencies.

- Develop systemic threat hunting capabilities and resources needed to develop and implement tailored cyber threat hunting programs.

- Enhance collaboration and information sharing among agencies, enabling them to share threat intelligence and best practices for advanced cyber threat hunting capability.

- Conduct reviews of cyber incidents to extract valuable insights and develop sophisticated cyber threat hunting capabilities that can effectively detect intrusions by advanced cyber actors.

- Provide support to the development of strategic, operational, and tactical threat and intelligence products for a diverse range of stakeholders.

- Explore and implement technologies to enhance intelligence dissemination, knowledge management, and archiving for intelligence products.

- Coordinate with other state and commonwealth government agencies when required, to report and review cyber security incidents.

- Contribute technical cyber security expertise to aid the department in meeting its responsibilities as the Control Agency for Cyber Crisis under the South Australian Emergency Management arrangements.
