Tasks & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth preparation and service.
- Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring seamless operations. (Sous)
- Assist the kitchen under instruction of the Head Chef, ensuring seamless operations. (CDP)
- Collaborate with the team to prepare and present high quality dishes using fresh, local ingredients.
- Uphold and enforce food hygiene and safety standards throughout the kitchen.
- Manage inventory, maintain stock levels, and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a mid‑to‑high calibre restaurant.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and mentor staff.
- Expertise in culinary techniques and a passion for delivering creative, high‑quality food.
- Ability to perform under pressure while managing multiple kitchen tasks.
- Food Safety Supervisors Certificate.
