Brisbane City Periodontics & Implants (BCPI) are seeking a caring professional to join and provide support for our reception team on a part-time basis.
As the first and last contact for our patients and referring health care professionals, the care and support provided by our front office team is vital in ensuring every interaction is seamless.
Responsibilities
Reception Duties
* Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice in a warm and caring manner.
* Answering in practice, telephone and email enquiries.
* Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating treatment with external health care professionals.
* Managing practitioners' diaries and patients needs.
* Processing payments, private health and third party claims.
General Administration
* Providing administrative support to our practitioners, patients, referring health care professionals, management and staff.
* Maintaining and updating patient records.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* 2+ years experience working as a receptionist or administrator within a fast past dental, medical or customer service environment.
* Exceptional phone, face-to-face and digital (email) communication skills.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and willing to take ownership and responsibility for own actions.
* High level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.
* Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
* Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
* Australian work rights are essential for this position.
