FANZCA-qualified Anaesthetist sought for Pain & Perioperative Medicine within a diverse, expanding anaesthesia service supporting a rapidly growing population.
Responsibilities
* Deliver 24‑hour emergency anaesthesia services.
* Provide major general surgery anaesthesia including colorectal, upper GI, liver, urology, breast & endocrine, gynaecology.
* Lead major orthopaedics anaesthesia for arthroplasty, revision surgery and trauma.
* Support a busy obstetric service with over 3,000 deliveries per year.
* Deliver a fully supported 24‑hour epidural service.
* Contribute to perioperative optimisation and pain management pathways.
* Provide clinical leadership, service development and teaching within a collaborative and well‑resourced environment.
Qualifications
* FANZCA-qualified Anaesthetist, or
* Within 6 months of completing FANZCA, or
* International Medical Graduate Anaesthetist assessed as Substantially Comparable, or
* UK CCT holder eligible for the AHPRA Expedited Specialist Pathway.
