National Business Development Manager

The Role

Acquire Recruitment Solutions partners with one of Australia's largest and fastest growing renewable energy companies that specialises in solar batteries and home energy solutions. With a national presence and rapid expansion across multiple states, the business is scaling rapidly across solar and battery installations. We are seeking a National Business Development Manager to take ownership of the installer network across the country. This role blends relationship management, operations, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

* Building and onboarding a network of accredited installers (SAA / CEC)
* Managing and strengthening existing installer relationships nationally
* Negotiating rates, availability, and service expectations
* Ensuring installer capacity aligns with sales demand
* Running toolbox talks and face‐to‐face meetings with installers
* Working closely with head office to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
* Travelling interstate to expand and maintain the network

About You

We're looking for someone who understands how to work with trades and build strong, long‐term relationships within the renewable energy space. This role suits someone who is practical, down‐to‐earth, and confident dealing with installers day‐to‐day.

Backgrounds

* Running your own business (trades, construction, electrical, HVAC, solar)
* Managing subcontractors, installers, or field teams
* Site management, building supervision, or installations leadership
* Business development or account management within renewable energy or trade‐based industries

Essential

* Proven experience within renewable energy
* Strong understanding of installer requirements, including SAA / CEC accreditation

Highly desirable

* Existing relationships within the solar, electrical, or contractor network

You will bring

* Strong experience working directly with tradies or subcontractors
* The ability to build and maintain genuine relationships
* Confidence negotiating rates and managing expectations
* A self‐sufficient approach and ability to build a network
* Flexibility to travel interstate regularly
