The position's purpose is to provide a Staff Specialist Psychiatrist service to the Townsville Mental Health Service Group, specifically to the Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Service within the Young Peoples Early Intervention Team.

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
Salary range: $251,527 to $266,677 p.a. (L18-L27)
5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading

Requirements:
Qualifications in Psychiatry, recognised by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and current registration with/or eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia.
Ongoing professional development relevant to the delivery of specialist Mental Health Services to maintain appropriate registration and/or association requirements is a requirement of all staff within the MHSG.
This position requires the incumbent to operate a class 'C' motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
