About the RoleThis role will see you working closely with the manager, to manage workflow and support a range of clients. The work is mostly compliance-based but with room for growth into advisory as your skills and confidence develop.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Preparing and reviewing BAS, tax returns, and financials for companies, trusts, and individuals
* Liaising with clients to collect and clarify information
* Responding to client queries (depending on your confidence and communication style)
* Working with the team to resolve tax issues, Div7A, and general compliance matters
* Identifying when to escalate questions or outsource complex matters
* Time entry and general workflow management
Who They're Looking For
This is a great role for someone who:
* Has 3–5 years' experience in public practice
* Is comfortable preparing BAS, company/trust returns, and individual tax
* Understands Div7A (you don't need to be an expert—just know what it is)
* Takes ownership of their learning and isn't afraid to ask questions
* Communicates clearly and professionally with clients and the team
* Is looking for a workplace that values steady growth, mentorship, and long-term development
Client contact will vary depending on your communication style and experience—but if you\'re confident and capable, there\'s plenty of opportunity to build client relationships.
