City Build Plumbing and Gas Services Manager
The City is seeking an experienced Plumbing and Gas Services Manager to join its team. This is a key leadership role that requires the ability to manage in-house and contracted plumbing and gas tradespersons, as well as other building services.
Job Description:
We are looking for an individual who can develop and deliver planned and reactive plumbing and gas works to ensure the City's buildings, facilities, and structures are well maintained, fit for purpose, and highly functional.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate the delivery of plumbing and gas services
* Lead a team of in-house and contracted tradespersons
* Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and efficiency
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
* Manage budgets and resources effectively
Requirements:
* Diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Building, or associated discipline
* Valid and current Plumbing Contractor's Licence issued by the relevant authority
* Construction Safety Induction Card
* Current unrestricted 'C' class motor vehicle licence
* Working at Heights Ticket or willingness to obtain
* Knowledge and experience in budgeting and expenditure management
* High level of knowledge and performance in project and contract management
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage and prioritise individual work responsibilities to achieve target outcomes
