About the Position

Due to continued growth and development of our business, this opportunity is now available for an administrator to join our Geraldton workshop team. Not only will you be able to provide vital support and make a difference in this role, you will also learn and develop your skills working amongst our skilled workshop team.

* Coordinating and scheduling maintenance work orders, service requests and repairs.
* Manage accounts payable/receivable and expense control procedures including creation of purchase orders, reconciliation and periodic reporting.
* Maintaining and updating the maintenance system, calendars, asset registers and equipment logs.
* Data entry to ensure accurate records of completed works, equipment history and expenditure.
* Assisting with planning, documenting and tracking compliance requirements.
* Acting as a point of contact for maintenance, workshop and office related enquiries from site staff, contractors and suppliers.
* Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Communicating job updates, follow ups and delays to relevant parties.
* Providing general office support, including greeting visitors, coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, answering incoming calls, responding to incoming email queries, filing, printing and ad hoc errands.
* Preparing purchasing requests and providing them to suppliers.
* Assist with some pickups and deliveries as required.

Your Skills and Experience will Include:

* At least 3+ years' experience in a maintenance/workshop administrative support role.
* Experience working in haulage and earthmoving equipment industries such as mining services, mining haulage/transportation, earthmoving, construction, engineering or similar.
* Experienced with workshop maintenance systems and strong computer literacy skills.
* Great administration coordination and office support capabilities.
* Good numeracy skills with high attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* A genuine love for being organised, working in a varied role.
* A current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one (less than 12 months old).
* Must hold full Australian working rights.
