About the Role
* Support the delivery of the HSEQ function across all operations
* Work closely with site teams and management to promote a strong safety culture
* Assist with compliance and drive continuous improvement across projects
* Hands‐on role suited to someone looking to step up and broaden their HSE responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
* Support the implementation and maintenance of HSEQ systems across projects
* Promote a proactive safety and wellbeing culture, including fatigue and mental health awareness
* Assist with compliance to WA WHS legislation and industry best practice
* Support hazard identification, risk assessments, SWMS, and JHAs
* Participate in incident and near‐miss investigations and corrective actions
* Conduct site inspections, safety meetings, and toolbox talks
* Maintain HSEQ records, reports, and documentation
* Assist with audits and system improvements (ISO experience advantageous, not essential)
Skills & Experience
* HSE experience within construction or high‐risk environments
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage site teams
* Practical, hands‐on approach with good attention to detail
* Desire to develop leadership and systems experience
Qualifications
* Cert IV, Diploma, or higher in Work Health & Safety or similar
* Knowledge of WA WHS legislation
* ISO experience desirable but not required
