This is a challenging opportunity for a medical professional to deliver high-quality healthcare services within correctional environments in the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network facilities.
About the Role:
* Deliver general medical services to patients within correctional settings, prioritizing their health and wellbeing.
* Collaborate with the Nursing Unit Manager (NUM), Service Director Primary Care, and Clinical Director Primary Care to enhance existing healthcare services.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Current medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Qualifications from the Royal Australian College of General Practice (RACGP) or Australasian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
* Recognition as a specialist by the Specialists Recognition Advisory Committee Award.
* Substantial experience in General Practice, with expertise in contemporary clinical management and modern approaches to assessing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions.
